Topically, this oil is useful for pain relief on the physical, mental and emotional planes.
This oil is formulated with 6 botanical rhythms forming a protective six petal rosette hexafoil, also serving as an esoteric solar symbol. I would like to highlight one of my favourite oils, Jatamansi present here. The use of Jatamansi (also called Nard or Spikenard) oil has been valued for centuries, referenced in religious scriptures, and is part of Tibetan, Ayurvedic, Chinese, Ancient Western and Near Eastern medicinal traditions.
If we explore the story of Mary Magdalene as a dimension of the spirit (or historically, if you prefer, or mythologically), we find that in an act of love and devotion Mary Magdalene poured Spikenard (Pure Nard, Jatamansi) on Jesus' feet and wiped his feet with her hair. I cannot express how much I love the spirit of this beautiful oil.

Photographed here with my most precious mala prayer necklace, which I received many years ago during a stay at the Buddhist Centre in Ixopo, KwaZulu-Natal, during a particularly difficult transition in my life, but also a beautiful time where I began to develop a more disciplined way of working with and channeling the flow of energy through my body.
