This serum is a pure & natural alternative to retinol. Recommended to be used 2-3 times a week, overnight only.  Introduce slowly , especially if you have sensitive skin.
 
This overnight face treatment is formulated to increase cell turnover, encourage natural collagen production and inspire the skin's innate ability to regenerate on a cellular level. 
 
One of the main molecules in Bakuchi (Babchi) oil is Bakuchiol. Bakuchiol is reported to function like retinol. It is thought to be synthetized by the body in the same way it synthetizes retinol (generating vitamin A) and is thought to be better tolerated and absorbed. 
Psoralen is another compound of molecule present in small quantities in pure Bakuchi oil. Psoralen are furocoumarin (highly effective in the treatment of skin conditions) that make the skin react with light/sun. This is why it is important to use only at night.
 
I am not in alignment with the current trend of lab-made Bakuchiol's processing in order for us to be able to use synthetic products (which mimic isolated parts of plants) during the day. We are not smarter than holistic nature, no matter how advanced we think our science is. Bakuchi has been used for hundreds of years in traditional Ayurveda and Chinese pharmacopeia, we must respect the authentic nature of plants and how our bodies respond to them as an entourage experience and follow ancient guidelines observed by people who were closer to nature than we are today.
